Objective of the page

To showcase and sell furniture from the store’s website.

For whom and why

I created this page for my parent’s store. I wanted to use WooCommerce to set up the online store and connect the inventory with Facebook’s shop.

It was developed at the beginning of the Covid pandemic as a necessity during the first lockdown in Ecuador. It was launched with a marketing campaign on Facebook which brought traffic to the page.

Elements used

It’s powered by a self-hosted installation of WordPress hosted on Namecheap and the domain name – “elpalaciodelhogar.com“

Uses WooCommerce to manage the store, connected to the Facebook and Instagram store to automatically update prices and set products on-sale. The site has installed a plugin to finish the purchase through WhatsApp.

It is using the OceanWP theme and the Elementor website builder.
